The longest day of your life.

I have to hand it to Singapore Airlines. The "Executive Economy" seat on their A340 jet is pretty damn nice for an economy price. I spent 18 hours in this puppy on Friday. A long time to be in the same seat. The service was almost as good as in Business Class on Continental or Northwest. And the seat was better than most domestic business seats. There are Singapore Airlines flights direct to Singapore from Los Angeles and Newark everyday for under $1,500. In my humble opinion, the best way to get to the other side of the world short of coughing up $4,500 for a seat in the front of the bus.

Love the blog! Glad you made it. $1500 isn't too bad for a flight all the way around the world!

Its a good thing you didn't get "Deep vein thrombosis". If you had a regular coach seat I think you would have been screwed. I'm happy to hear your ok and things are going well according to Ma.

Peace,
